Community engagement is at the heart of what First Christian does. Our Faith is relational, lived out in two dimensions: vertically in worship (personal and corporate); and horizontally as we fellowship with and serve the people around us.
Green Dome Feeding Ministry
Something FCC Tulsa is really good at and loves to do is to feed people! We offer two different feeding ministries throughout the year. Some of which are held at the church and some of which are held off site.
- DayCenter for Homeless Meal
2nd Thursday of every month FCC cooks dinner and serves it at the DayCenter for the Homeless Center in Downtown Tulsa.
- Snack Packs
Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays 11am-12pm FCC hands out lunch bags with chips, granola bar, pudding cup, entree item, and bottle of water to the hungry of Downtown Tulsa. This ministry is our major weekday outreach ministry serving over 100 people each MWF.
Four teams of servants give of their time to Make A Difference in the lives of these street people.
Quilting at FCC
Quilters collect scrap material and make “cuddle” quilts for Emergency Infant Services. Over the years, this faithful group of sewers has made hundreds of quilts.
These are just some of the outreach opportunities that First Christian Church takes part in as we strive to Make a Life Better in the heart of Tulsa.
